ClimaTeach Project Kick-Off Meeting Held in Kırşehir
The first Transnational Project Meeting (TPM1) of the ClimateTeach2025 project, funded by the European Union, was successfully held on 20–21 November 2025, hosted by Kırşehir Ahi Evran University. The meeting brought together all project partners, including UNIBUC from Romania, Polygonal North from Finland, the partner institution from Austria, PiriTeknoloji from Türkiye, and the coordinating institution, Kırşehir Ahi Evran University.
During the two-day meeting, partners reviewed the overall aims of the project, work packages, timeline, and expected outcomes. Comprehensive planning was carried out regarding project management, administrative and financial procedures, communication mechanisms, quality assurance strategies, Gantt chart tasks, and budget management. In addition, responsibilities and the timeline for WP2 – Developing the Climate Change Awareness Assessment Tool were clarified.
The meeting also focused on the dissemination plan, social media strategy, promotional materials, and the development of the project website and communication channels. The partners also agreed on holding the second TPM in Vienna.
TPM1 concluded with a certificate ceremony and social activities with the participation of all partners. The ClimaTeach project aims to develop innovative, digital, and AR-supported educational models to enhance university students’ climate change awareness, sense of responsibility, and psychological well-being.
